Homework 1, due April 4
1. Read 1.1 and 1.2 in the textbook.
2. Hand in a description (at least one page) of your previous experiences in mathematics, including courses you have taken or are taking at DePaul or other colleges, what you have especially liked and especially disliked (if anything), and your reaction to "proofs". Include also why you are taking this course, and what your career plans are.
