How to Make an X-Y Scatter Graph
1. Select the data for your graph by clicking the
first cell A9, and then dragging to cell B26.
2. Click Chart Wizard
3. In step 1, choose Chart subtype scatter:
4. Click the Next> button twice to skip step
two and move on to step three (we will learn more about step 2 - Chart Source
Data at the "series tab" later in the course).
5. Give your chart a descriptive title. Also label both your x-axis
and your y-axis.
6. Click on the legend tab and "click-off" the Show legend box. If you are graphing only one series of data, always be certain to remove the legend!
7. In step 4, save your chart As object in: your current sheet.
